The Prince William County Youth Salute Council is now accepting nominations of those 11th grade young people who have displayed outstanding ability in leadership and academic achievement. The students selected as their school’s nominees for the Youth Salute Program participate in a Leadership and Essay Writing Seminar held by volunteers. Applicants must be a member of the Junior class, have a 3.0 GPA or higher at the end of sophomore year, and have held TWO LEADERSHIP ROLES to which they were chosen by their peers or an adult leader within the past two years in school, religious or community sponsored organizations.
