A Message from Unity Reed High School's Resource Officer

Any student who uses an electronic device, including but not limited to cell phones and computers, to bully, threaten or harass another student or staff member will have his or her cell phone confiscated by our School Resource Officer for a minimum of 30 days (with the possibility of formal charges being filed) in addition to any consequence deemed appropriate by school administration.

In addition, if any student has received an email, text or other electronic transmission that constitutes child pornography or material deemed obscene or inappropriate for school as outlined in the Prince William County Public Schools' Code of Behavior, he or she is expected to inform a staff member. Should a student forward such content to another student or be in possession of a phone with in appropriate content on it, he or she will be subject to the confiscation of the cellphone or device by our School Resource Officer for a minimum of 30 days (with the possibility of formal charges being filed) in addition to any consequence deemed appropriate by school administration.
