Stonewall Jackson High schools unit VA-20065 AFJROTC (Air Force Junior Recruit officer Training Corp) strives for excellence and is based on U.S Air Force Core Values, "Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do." Cadets have no obligation to the military after high school, nor is this program intended for recruiting purposes of any kind. Rather our main goal is to develop citizens of character and integrity.

Joining VA-20065: If you are a current Unity Reed student (rising sophomore or junior), please fill out the application below, including the Memo of Understanding, and the Health Screening Form, and return it to your counselor prior to registering for next  year's classes.

AFJROTC application (PDF)

If you are interested in joining AFJROTC as a rising freshman, fill out the application above, including the Memo of Understanding, and the Health Screening Form, and return it to your counselor, who will send it to us through the school mailing system. After submitting your application, simply check AFJROTC I (Aerospace Science I) as one of your electives.


For students wishing to transfer to URHS to be part of the AFJROTC program, please visit the PWCS High School Transfer web page and follow the directions to Apply for a Specialty Program by February 1st. . Students zoned to Brentsville, Patriot, and Gainesville may transfer to URHS for the JROTC program.
