Students may be exempt from a final exam if they meet one of the following criteria:
- Students must have an A in the course going into the final exam*, OR
- Pass the SOL or IDM associated with the course
*If a student’s grade drops below an A before the exam, they are no longer exempt and must take the final. Failure to take the exam will result in a 0% (F). Final exams count for 10% of the course grade.
Note: Dual Enrollment (DE) courses may not offer exam exemptions.

Attendance On Exam Days for Exempt Students

- If an Exempt Student Comes to School, they must report to class. Students may not walk the halls or leave campus.
- No Early Dismissals During Exams:
To minimize disruptions, early dismissals during exam periods are not allowed, except in emergencies
