Arrival & Dismissal

Student Drop Off/Pick Up Locations

Students will enter via Kim Graham Lane and proceed to the back of the school to park in designed student parking area. All students are required to purchase a Parking Pass to park at Unity Reed High School. The senior class will be allowed to park in the stadium lot to the left of the school. Seniors will be allowed to paint their parking spots in the designated senior parking area. To paint your parking space please read the guidelines and submit your approval when you purchase your parking pass. Student Drop Off & Parking Information

Students may be dropped off at school starting at 7:00am. Those dropping students off will enter on Kim Graham Ln and drive behind the school to the designated drop-off zone. Please follow the map for exiting on Kim Graham Ln and do not cut through the student parking lot. Please do not drop off in front of the school or near the stadium side. The lanes directly in front of the school are bus lanes. No drivers are allowed in the bus lanes during arrival or dismissal. These areas must remain clear to allow for buses to safely enter and exit.

Underclassmen will enter on Kim Graham Ln and park in their assigned spot in the rear parking lot. Seniors will enter the parking lot in front of the gym from Rixlew lane and park in their designated spot. ALL students must purchase a parking pass from security in order to park on school grounds. Parking pass information is listed in a separate section below.

Please use the stadium lot and visitor parking spaces to park and come inside to pickup your student.

Late to School?

After 7:30am, all late students being dropped off must enter through Door 1 (main entrance) and check in at the vestibule. Students self-driving may enter through Door 12 and check in at the main office.

Student Parking

Students who plan on driving to school must purchase a parking pass. Parking passes cost $100 and applications can be found here. **Applications must be signed by a Parent/Guardian for processing.

Passes will be sold on the following early dates below and again during the first two weeks of school.

  • August 19: Parking Permits sold from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM
  • August 21: Parking Permits sold from 1:00 -3:00 PM

Parking enforcement will begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. All vehicles, except visitors, parked at school must have a pass displayed at that time.

Student Entry

Students may enter the building starting at 7:00am through 2 approved entrance doors only. Student entry Doors are:

  • Door 1 (Main Entrance) for Buses and Senior Parking
  • Door 12 (Near Trailers) for Student Drop Off and Underclass Parking
Free Breakfast & Lunch for ALL Students

Free meals to all students: Breakfast and lunch will continue to be provided at no cost to students this year due to URHS receiving Title I resources for the 26-27 school year.

  • Drivers and passengers should arrive to school in time as to not be tardy. Several people drop their students off daily. Please be mindful that school does start at 7:30 am.
  • Students must purchase and display a parking pass by obtaining and completing the Student Parking Application (see above).
  • Consequences for parking at Unity Reed illegally include a warning, booting of the vehicle, and being towed at the owner’s expense or losing parking privileges.
  • Students may not return to their vehicles for any reason unless permission has been granted by security staff or an administrator.
  • Any student leaving the school property in their vehicle without signing out properly will lose parking privileges as determined by the principal or his/her designee.
  • Students reported and confirmed to be driving in a reckless manner while on school property will be subject to a loss of driving privileges.
  • Students must use caution and obey posted signage.
  • All vehicles are subject to search if there is reasonable suspicion that drugs, alcohol, weapons, stolen property, or other contraband may be present.
  • Students will lose the permit and permission to park on school property if the pass is copied, sold, or transferred to another student.
  • Lost parking passes should be reported to security and a new pass will be issued for $20 replacement fee.
