What to Bring
Students are asked to bring their school laptop (FULLY CHARGED), computer charger, mask and water. If a student does not have a SCHOOL LAPTOP, you may borrow one to complete your test. Please DO NOT bring any personal computers. Students cannot use personal computers to test.

Accessing
the
Practice
Items
The Practice Items can be accessed using a standard Web browser and selecting the button below. An alternative way to access the Practice Items is to download and install the TestNav application.
Note: While the Practice Items can be viewed on various devices, students will only complete state assessments on devices with a minimum 9.5" screen size.
Definitions:
- End-of-course test: These are SOL tests that are given at the end of specific SOL courses as defined by the Virginia Department of Education.
- Retakes: these tests are given to students that have previously passed an SOL course but did not pass the SOL test associated with that course and need the verified credit.
- Makeup Tests: these tests are given to students who were absent from a specific test.
- Expedited Retakes: these SOL tests are given to students that do not pass the SOL but score within a set range as defined by the Virginia Department of Education.
- Term Grad: Students planning to graduate at the end of the current term/semester (12th grade)
- Underclassmen: Grades 9 - 11
