Unity Reed High School's unit VA-20065 AFJROTC (Air Force Junior Recruit Officer Training Corp) strives for excellence and is based on U.S Air Force Core Values, "Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do." Cadets have no obligation to the military after high school, nor is this program intended for recruiting purposes of any kind. Rather our main goal is to develop citizens of character and integrity.

Application Process
AFJROTC is an available transfer program at URHS for students from Brentsville HS and Gainesville HS, meaning students attend Unity Reed High School full time. Transportation is available at select specialty bus stops around the county for students. Unity Reed students continue riding their regular bus. Students may apply by completing the specialty program application starting on November 1st. The application closes February 1st. If you are a student new to the county, you may still apply within 30 days of your enrollment. Please contact Mrs. Hodgson ([email protected]) for more information.
